super cool, and i see many comments about it being a comprehensive tool, but i could use a little tour video or some 'template projects' so i could understand what's going on a littl emore. still, thanks for the tool!

oh, the help menu has some documentation, :D so i'll start there :)

such a cool font - any reason you can think of why the mapping doesn't work? i've had to fish around for the correct mapping :(

copying and pasting the tokens and then getting gamemaker to draw them, they come out completely different.

for example the mapping says '/' is face button top, but it isn't, it's face button right.

EDIT: I realized in gamemaker if i use draw_text_ext_transformed() for some reason the mapping decoheres. perhaps because of something else. anyway, nevermind all this ! :) :) <3

love these! what are the dimensions of each, though?

phew, so fresh sounding, good stuff!!

hello, just wondering if this has autotile support in Tiled?

Interesting! tysm for the detailed response; im going to spend some time trying to learn tiled, since it sounds like it will make building the game world easier (which i desperately need ) :)

thanks rafa! im a little confused, though, because i expect to see 16 or 47 numbered tiles for everything that can be autotiled but the tile sets dont seem to match up? i guess im not super familiar with tiled or how to match the tiles int he tileset with the tilemap in gamemaker :D

how do you get this to work with the tiled map editor in conjunction with gamemaker? i know gamemaker has an autotiling system, and i see the tiles are numbered in the demo. was considering buying if i could figure that out.

id appreciate that! For some reason I click install and it just keeps looping never letting me open the content. I love the asset for mocking up  a room.

solarianijinski@gmail.com if you could send there thank you!

any reason why my download keeps failing for this ?? :(

a top down asset pack full of this style! <3 , this is nice

oh i love these so much. any hope for a new set?

very neat, agreed !

loving this one! i like the combo of greenery with sci-fi and warehouse, usually you only get one or the other. thanks!

secret of mana is my favorite series, what an homage this is! even nicer, really, than the originals 2d spritework. im working on something now that doesn't fit this aesthetic but it would be so awesome to use this. looking forward to it! do enemies appear in a separate pack, perhaps?

trying to slice these (not using RPGmaker), any info on the dimensions of each sprite? they look about 100 x 100 ?? love the style of these thanks so much.

oh i feel silly, i think. i just realized if i did the resolution at, 16x16 i would get pieces that would let me create straight lines, and th eother effects like shadows with opacity. <3

this is sort of what i have available to me in gamemaker (image below, i hope it's alright i upload one); do you mean dividing up the tiles something like this? i was assuming each tile was 48x48, but im not sure i understand the 24pixel border on each side?

i see bottom left, top left, top right, bottom right tiles, but no middle tiles with just one line? are these missing? how do you get that effect, like on the top edges of rooms, drawing the outline? is it because RPG maker is doing something that lets you not have these tiles? i'm using gamemaker.

how do you get the shadow effect on the edges of the rooms to create the depth illusion? actually, how do you get the effect in general on the left edges of rooms for depth? it looks like a different sized pixel i can't figure it out! love the tileset <3

very nice!

yup! mhm it can. i'm not super familiar with it to answer much beyond that, but i know it can handle normal maps to light a 2d game. i literally googled normals gamemaker and found a pretty cool blog entry on it that i'll probably read up on later https://www.yoyogames.com/en/blog/using-normal-maps-to-light-your-2d-game (pasting here for anyone else's interest and my own future self).

Love this asset pack! Fits the exact aesthetic I would like for my project. Was wondering if you could talk a bit about how you did the lighting effects? I'm not working in Godot (Gamemaker) so I can't see the sample project.

anybody encounter this error here and know what's up?

likely a 2.3 issue.

EDIT: oh I see someone below posted a solution to this already my bad:

In GMS v2.3.2, there's been a bugfix where array_length returns undefined instead of 0 when you pass in non-array values.

Replace line 16 in Alarm 0 with effects_al = effects[page] != -1 ? array_length(effects[page])/2 : -infinity;

thx toronto!

EDIT2: Looks like I finally get to view the demo project, but some of the text is showing up 'black' instead of with its appropriate style. unless that's just how that portion is supposed to draw :D

yes! indeed this is what was causing the issue. thanks kronbits!

on Catalina, the Mac version I just downloaded won't let me save or export. I can open the menu just fine but when I try to actually save or export a render that I've made, the files don't populate. any idea?
